It’s always encouraging to hear about what the Lord does through Secret Church. So we thought we’d share one story we received about how God has used Secret Church to turn one couple upside down for his kingdom.
An Encouraging Secret Church Story
As if there was ever any doubt about God working through your ministry…I wanted to share a short story.
Two years ago, I knew Christ but I didn’t know about Secret Church. A couple from our church invited my wife and I to their house gathering for Secret Church 13. We were blown away. A year later, our friends had moved due to military commitments and so my wife and I picked up our cross and hosted Secret Church 14 and introduced three new couples who had never heard of Secret Church.
Today, I’m saddened that we won’t be able to host Secret Church 15 but it’s for a really awesome reason. You see on April 24th, I’ll be leaving with a small teaching group from our church and going to a place in this world that has been dark for a very long time. I’ll only be gone for a little more than a week but it’s my first international mission trip. Were it not for God’s calling through Secret Church, this would not have happened.
I’m going to be 50 years old in June and Lord willing, this is just the start. My wife and I hope to eventually make the step of faith and move into long-term mission work. Even now, our children are beginning to embark on their own personal journeys of faith. As we reflect on our lives over the last 30 years, God has slowly moved us through the training grounds of this life, and through Secret Church, he has now opened our eyes to reveal his purpose for us.
