Egypt
About two thousand years ago, the gospel writer Mark first shared the gospel with Egyptians. Today, less than 1% of the population identifies as Christian. While 90% of the population identifies as Muslim, the Egyptian church continues to remain hopeful and is in need of prayer and sound, theological teaching.

Leadership Development
Many Egyptian believers need access to theological teaching to grow in their faith and as church leaders. We are partnering with a seminary to train Egyptian church leaders for scholarly and pastoral ministry. Through various spiritual and academic experiences and courses, the seminary equips church leaders in prayer, study, and service, preparing them for future ministry.
HOW TO PRAY FOR
Egypt
For new believers from a Muslim background.
Converting from Islam to Christianity in Egypt can lead to losing your job, family, friends, and your safety. Pray for the safety of new believers and for them to experience comfort from God.
For equipped church leaders.
There is a need for sound, theological preaching and resources in Egypt. Pray for access to theological education and for pastors to be trained and equipped.
For endurance and boldness.
In the midst of slow growth and a small gospel presence, pray for believers to encourage one another, to be equipped with endurance, and to have boldness in sharing their faith.
