He Always Fulfills His Promises (Genesis 21:1)

“The Lord visited Sarah as He said and the Lord did to Sarah as He had promised.”
– Genesis 21:1

What a great verse, Genesis 21:1, that describes God’s faithfulness. He always what He says. He always fulfills what He promises. God never ever doesn’t do what He has said He will do. He never ever doesn’t fulfill a promise He has made. Do you realize what a rock solid foundation that is for your life today? The Bible is filled with promises. Promises from God to be with us, to lead and guide us, to counsel us with wisdom, to direct us by His Spirit, to work all things together for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose.

Genesis 21:1 Strengthens Our Trust in Christ

He promises us even in prayer as we abide in Him His words abide in us, that we ask whatever we wish and it will be given to us when we’re asking according to His Word. Do we realize how huge this is for our lives? We can trust God. Just like Sarah could. We can trust God to do what He has said and to do as He has promised.

All our hopes rest in One who always delivers on His Word. We revel in this comfort.

This Verse Lets Us Know God’s Promises Are Good

God we look to You right now. We praise You for your promises to us and we trust in them. God, we believe You are with us right now and that You are leading and guiding us. We believe that You are working everything around us, even the hardest things around us, the most difficult challenging things that some people are walking through right now You are working all of it together for good. That You are our helper, our deliverer, our sustainer, the only one who can satisfy our soul. You are our provider and You are always faithful to provide.

All glory be to Your Name for Your constant faithfulness. We love and worship You oh God. We trust in You with all our heart. Help us not to lean on our own understanding in all our ways help us to acknowledge you and we trust You have said it, You will make our paths straight. It will be just as You have said. All glory be to Your Name for Your faithfulness, Your constancy. In a world of uncertainty and unpredictability You are faithful and we worship You and we trust and we rest in You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
