Uzbekistan

Evangelism

With our help, the special needs population in Uzbekistan and surrounding region is being reached with the gospel. This project distributes a gospel message and biblical teachings for spiritual growth via social media, a website, and physical distribution.

Discipleship

With our help, a theological resources app is providing biblical resources to Central Asians in their language. These resources cover a very wide range of biblical topics including church history, church planting, hermeneutics, pastoral training, and theology.

Humanitarian Relief

We are meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of Uzbeks. One project is led by a church focusing on starting local businesses that would empower the local church to plant churches in unreached areas. These businesses would financially help the church to plant new churches, provide jobs for their members, and provide a place where the church can meet to conduct training for discipleship and leadership.

We also are partnering with an Uzbek believer that is starting an agricultural business in an unreached village. This business would allow this believer and his family to evangelize, disciple, and plant a local church.

Leadership Development

We are training Central Asian pastors through an internship program on how to lead a church, how to preach, and how to evangelize. With our help, a seminary is providing theological training to Central Asian leaders and pastors.

HOW TO PRAY FOR
Uzbekistan

For new churches to be planted.

With limited freedom to gather as the church, pray that current and new applications to register churches would be approved and that believers can safely gather together.

For the gospel to be shared.

With 94% of the population identifying as Muslim, pray that Uzbek Christians would be bold in sharing the gospel and that churches would focus on reaching unreached areas of the country, particularly rural areas.

For believers to be discipled.

Pray that local believers in Uzbekistan would have access to good theological resources to grow in holiness and knowledge of the Lord.
