Only 40 years after the first Protestant missionaries arrived in 1923, Cambodia expelled foreign missionaries and almost all churches associated with the West closed due to politics. Today, less than 2% of the population identifies as Christian in the majority Buddhist country. Yet the gospel is spreading in Cambodia, especially in rural areas.

With the hope to see God’s healing and comfort reach the vulnerable and hurt, we are partnering with a ministry that provides a secure home and care for trafficking victims in Cambodia. This ministry also provides vocational training, spiritual mentorship, and rehabilitation support to the victims.
By partnering with local churches, this ministry hopes to equip and empower trafficking victims to overcome trauma, experience life and healing in Christ, and advance the gospel.
Leadership Development
We are also partnering with a Bible school to equip Cambodian believers who will lead urban churches. With the combination of theological education and training from experienced local leaders and missionaries, new church leaders are trained in sound biblical theology. The hope is to see more healthy churches planted across the country.
HOW TO PRAY FOR

For the truth of the gospel to be known.
In a majority Buddhist country, many Cambodians do not know the true life and freedom found in Christ. Pray that the lost would see that there is no hope in Buddhism and understand their need for Christ.
For new churches.
Pray for church planting efforts in towns with no church presence to be successful and bear fruit long-term.
For new leaders to be raised and equipped.
There are opportunities for young Cambodian believers to be trained for church planting. Pray for doors to be opened to them and for their character and faith to be strengthened as leaders.
