Tunisia
Despite being a major center for early Christianity, less than 0.2% of Tunisia’s population identifies as Christian today. Since the arrival of Islam in the 7th century, Christianity has declined, and the church in Tunisia faces restrictions and pressure.

Evangelism
With our help, outreach efforts are reaching Tunisia and the rest of North Africa with the gospel. We have established a translation center with Christian workers. These workers are discipled and are given the opportunity to share the gospel with those they interact with at the business and the surrounding area.
Because of our help, online ads and messaging are used to have gospel conversations with locals and migrants. The hope is to make disciples and plant churches.
Discipleship
Through various efforts, we are discipling Tunisian believers. We are training North African believers from a Muslim background in evangelism and sending them out to share the gospel with students in a different cultural context. We are providing biblical education for North African student ministry leaders. These classes focus on Bible teaching, apologetics, and theology. The goal is to better equip the younger generation of believers.
Humanitarian Relief
To meet both spiritual and physical needs, we are bringing humanitarian relief to Tunisia. We provide micro loans to church members to grow their businesses or start a new business. The goal is to bring new businesses to the community, secure long-term work for church members, and provide spiritual growth coaching.
With our help, a mental health counseling center has been established for Tunisian Christians.
Leadership Development
We are raising and equipping church leaders in Tunisia and the surrounding area. We train church leaders from a Muslim background to teach, disciple, and equip beleivers—also from a Muslim background—on how to lead a local church, Bible studies, and discipleship groups.
With our help, a biblical education program for North African church leaders and an institute is providing theology training for church leaders.
HOW TO PRAY FOR
Tunisia
For believers to be strengthened and encouraged.
With a small Christian population mostly made up of expatriates and a few Tunisian converts, pray for their strength, boldness, courage, and endurance.
For religious freedom and safety.
Tunisian believers face pressure from both the government and their communities. Pray for their safety and for their ability to practice their faith freely.
For unity among churches.
With division between churches and leaders, pray for believers to be unified and to encourage and strengthen each other as the community of Christ.
