Leadership Development
We are sharing the gospel and strengthening believers in Mauritania. One of these projects is training church leaders in Mauritania and the surrounding region to teach, disciple, and equip believers from Muslim backgrounds. The goal is to train believers to become church leaders, to lead Bible studies, and to start new discipleship groups and churches.
With our help, a biblical education program is multiplying church leaders in Mauritania and the rest of North Africa.

For the gospel to be known.
With less than 1% of the population identifying as Christian, most of the population is unreached. Pray for the gospel to be shared, heard, and known and for churches to be established.
For legal and social restrictions to be lifted.
Under Islamic rule, Christians face persecution from both the government and their communities. Pray for laws to be changed and for Christians to have boldness to witness despite intense pressure.
For safety and endurance.
Converting from Islam and sharing the gospel can lead to death. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill believers with peace and endurance and for their safety.
