Restoring Human Dignity

Basic needs such as food, water, and shelter are often threatened in famine, war, natural disasters, and other crises and the frailty of our humanity exposed. Meeting such needs is a gracious act that restores dignity and gives hope to those suffering. Those who are created in the image of God are to be protected and cared for, not forgotten or ignored. Whenever possible, Urgent seeks to provide resources to local churches in the area to enable the local Christians to distribute food and water and provide shelter to their neighbors in need.

Food and Water Distribution

Locations that are experiencing poverty, natural disaster, and war lack basic needs such as food, water, and shelter. In these situations the frailty of our humanity is exposed.
