Resurrection of Christ
The resurrection of Jesus Christ was a historical event with eternally significant implications. After he was crucified and buried, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures. He presented himself alive to many witnesses before ascending to the Father in glory. The resurrection is God’s certification that Christ’s sacrifice was sufficient and that all who belong to Christ will also be raised on the last day.
