Evangelism

It is only through the gospel message that mankind can hear the good news about Jesus Christ and receive the gift of eternal life (Rom 10:11–17, John 3:16). Above all, it is imperative that Christians share this good news with the world (Matt 5:14–16). While the gospel must be adorned by good works (Titus 2:10, 1 John 2:4, James 2:14–17), the gospel itself is a message containing words that must be proclaimed (Rom 15:20, 1 Cor 1:17, 9:16). Today is the day of salvation (2 Cor 6:2) and Christ our Lord commands all people to repent (Acts 17:30). Furthermore, as in the New Testament (Gal 1:8), false “gospels” have been spread throughout the world, tragically giving false hope in false gods (Matt 23:15). Urgent support ministries that proclaim the true and good news of Jesus Christ that many may be saved.

Discipleship

We believe that true discipleship is a long process that takes time. It goes beyond the first steps of evangelism. We work to connect our evangelistic efforts to long term discipleship programs in order to see sustainable indigenous churches in unreached locations that can serve as a light to that community for generations. As a result, new believers have been left as babes in the faith without a strong maturity to protect them. The author of Hebrews chastised those who ought to be teachers but still require milk (Heb 5:11–14, 1 Cor 3:2), people who are at risk for being led astray by false teaching (Eph 4:11–14, 2 Cor 11:3) resulting in, at best, unfruitful Christians (1 Cor 3:15) and, at worst, those who abandon the faith (1 Tim 5:12, 6:21).
