Love involves commitment, affection, and sacrifice and is based on a relationship. Scripture tells us that God is love. He has demonstrated his love for us by sending his Son for our salvation and giving us his Spirit who produces love in us. Our love for God and others made in his image as well as his love for us will continue throughout eternity.
