When approaching the topic of “God, Government, and the Gospel,” we are inundated with questions and issues to consider. But ultimately, we must seek to hear clearly what God has said in His Word about government; distinguish carefully between God’s Word and our wisdom; unite joyfully around God’s Word in the church as we work charitably according to our wisdom in the world; live justly, love kindness, and walk humbly with God in our nation; and live zealously for the spread of God’s love and the glory of God’s name among all nations.
