What to Expect
STUDY: Take a 6 hour deep dive to study God’s epic tale of redemption in the story of Ruth. It’s a story that reminds us that each of our lives–no matter how ordinary they may sometimes seem and no matter how difficult they may sometimes be–is indeed a part of a plan much larger than ourselves and much more thrilling than we could ever imagine.
PRAY: This year we will explore the story of the persecuted church in North Korea, considered by many the most hostile-to-Christians country in the world. Together we will pray and support our brothers and sisters in North Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia and other persecuted places.
ACT: We will be challenged to live on mission–in our neighborhoods and to the nations.

ABOUT SECRET CHURCH
Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually.
Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted.

Who can participate in Secret Church?
Anyone can register to participate in Secret Church. Individuals are welcome to purchase single tickets, though we do encourage group registration whenever possible.Â
Can a local church or small group host a local gathering?
Yes! In fact we highly encourage churches and small groups to join us for Secret Church together as a group. You can find promotional posters, cards, and social media assets to help spread the word in your local area.
Can we delay the start time of Secret Church?
Yes! You can delay the start of the stream if the start time does not work for your group. Since we start at 7:00 pm EDT (GMT-4), this option is often helpful for groups in Mountain and Pacific time zones. You will have access to the stream through May 31, so you can replay the video sessions at any time during that period.

Can I get access to the Spanish Secret Church stream and Guided Scripture Journal if I have already registered in English?
Yes, when you receive your unique streaming access link through email 48 hours before the event begins you will be able to select the Spanish stream which also has a link to the PDF of the Spanish Guided Scripture Journal
Do you offer any larger ticket packages for churches?
Yes! We also have a 200 and 500 pack for large groups.
Can we stream Secret Church from home?
Yes! The Secret Church stream is a web-based broadcast and can be viewed in your church, home, school, workplace, or anywhere in the world that has a strong internet connection.
What do we need to do to prepare for the event?
1. Make sure to register so that you can get access to the video steam.
2. Once you register we will send you a free printed copy* as well as a digital copy of the Guided Scripture Journal.
3. Make sure to have a stable internet connection.
4. Bring plenty of pens and highlighters.
If you’ve done Secret Church before, you’ll notice that the Study Guide this year is different. We’re calling it a Guided Scripture Journal. It’s designed less around filling in blanks (although there are some of them), but more for you to take notes in the actual text of the Bible as we walk through it. Our hope is that you will mark up the text and take all kinds of notes as God speaks to you through His Word.
Can our church use it's Resi decoder to stream Secret Church?
If your church currently has a Resi decoder or ProPresenter 7 with the Resi plugin, you will have the option to stream Secret Church 2024 using that system. Please fill out this form by Monday, April 15 and we will work with the Resi team to get the Secret Church stream set up on your Resi account.
Is there a download link for the Secret Church Guided Scripture Journal?
Yes. You can use the link below to download the PDF of the 2024 Secret Church Guided Scripture Journal.
If you ordered a group package, you will need to share this link with the other members of your group. Please only share with the number of people included in your registration.

You can find session media, study guide downloads, discussion questions, and more from past Secret Church events on our Secret Church archive page.
How can we attend the location where David will be speaking?
We have intentionally designed this event to be experienced all over the world, across every time zone. All the details of the event, including how we film and produce it, are designed with the goal of gathering the body of Christ together for concentrated study of the Word. We encourage you to gather physically with people around you, as you join with thousands of others around the world, on April 19 via the online stream.
