What Do We Mean by Racism?

Diversity, the word, has been politicized, and actually, it has had various meanings. In the sixties, it probably would’ve been talking about desegregation. By the seventies, eighties, we’re talking about Affirmative Action. In the Bible, you won’t see the word, diversity, but it’s all throughout.

What Do We Mean by Diversity?

We see that God created the world, and He created it very diverse. He is even three-in-one. We see this beauty of diversity in language, and in culture, and in colors. It is all throughout the scriptures. When I’m talking about diversity, I’m speaking about God’s creation, and how He’s made us uniquely designed for His glory.

Trillia Newbell is the author of numerous books, including a six-week Bible study on Romans 8, If God Is for Us: The Everlasting Truth of Our Great Salvation. You can find her at trillianewbell.com.
