The term calling is often used in relation to missions and missionary assignments. However, most of the time the Bible speaks of God’s calling in other ways, the most important being God’s call to salvation by which he draws people to himself. Based on Romans 8:28–30 and a variety of other passages, this message defines the different ways that the Bible speaks of the Christian’s calling, including God’s directing of some disciples to make disciples in more specific ways and in specific contexts.
