“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever. Amen.”

This is one of the greatest benedictions in The Bible that we could pray for each other to point each other to God. Just think about the language here. Jude 1:24 “Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling.” Don’t we all need that today and tomorrow, each day at every moment?
Jude 1:24–25 Keeps Us from Stumbling
God, keep us from stumbling. We are prone to stumble. We need to fix our eyes continually on the only one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before the presence of his glory. God is able to do this, to present us blameless by his grace before the presence of his glory. What a phrase. One day we’re going to be in the presence of his glory with great joy. Don’t you long for that day when you’re in the presence of the glory of God with great joy? God is able to bring you to that day blameless by his grace, through the gospel.
The only God is able to do this, our savior, and he does it through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So to him be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever. Look the picture here of just worship and praise and awe and fear and love toward God rising in a way that will never, ever, ever end. God. We pray Jude 24 and 25 with joy today, to you who are able to keep us from stumbling, please keep us from stumbling today. Lord, we pray this in our lives. We pray this for the people around us and our lives, families, our churches.
Jude 1:24–25 Leads Us to Ask for God’s Help
God, help us not to stumble today. Keep us from stumbling. We are all prone to stumble. Please keep us from stumbling. Help us to walk with you. God, we pray for our Afghan brothers and sisters this month. Keep them from stumbling, help them to trust in you to boldly proclaim the gospel. God, help us to do the same. We pray that you would keep us from stumbling and you would present us blameless before the presence of your glory with great joy. God, please finish the work you started in us. Bring us to that day, help us to keep our eyes fixed on that day to live for that day.
Not to settle for the treasures of this world and the pleasures and pursuits and possessions of this world to live, to be blameless before you in the presence of your glory with great joy, having lived for your glory. Praise you, oh God as our savior through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Jesus, we praise you for making blamelessness possible for us. Sinners based on your righteousness and faith and trust in you. To you, oh God, be all glory, be all majesty, to be all dominion and all authority in all the nations before all time now and forever.
This Verse Leads Us to Glorify God
God, be glorified now in our lives, today in our lives, glorify yourself through us and forever. God, we pray that you’d help us to live for this end above all to glorify your name. As Jesus taught us to pray our father in heaven, hallowed, be your name and all the earth and hallowed be your name because your name to remain known as holy through our lives, through our families, through our churches in every way we pray for your glory in light of your word in Jude 1:24–25. We love it. Lord, we say to Jude 1:24–25 exactly what it says at the end. We pray this in Jesus’ name may it be so. Amen.
