There is no shortage of books, conferences, and consultants in our day offering to help churches find their mission. It’s as if God’s people have been left in the dark as to what we should be about. But what if Jesus has already given us our marching orders? Shouldn’t we listen to the Head of the church if we want to know how to spend our time, energy, and resources?
