When we make the gospel known, there is a risk of being on missions. Whether to our neighbors across the street or to unreached peoples across the world, there is the risk–risk to our comfort, risk to our reputations, the risk to our jobs, and, depending on where we go, the risk to our lives. The task of missions hardly sounds inviting due to the risk. However, as David Platt shares in these concluding words of Secret Church 16, Christ has conquered sin, Satan, death, and hell by his blood, and the reward God has promised is more than worth the risk.
