Lifeline and the Tribe 5K

Tagline: “Giving Children a Hope and a Future”

Mission Statement: Lifeline exists to equip the Body of Christ to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children.

Vision: Vulnerable children and their communities are transformed by the Gospel and are making disciples.

What They Do: Lifeline equips the Church to minister in various ways:

  • Care for birthparents and helping them to know Christ and choose life.
  • Adopting orphans into families where they can experience the love of Christ and be taught the Gospel.
  • Training and discipling older orphans so that they know Christ and are prepared to enter adulthood with the skills to live well.
  • Support families who love vulnerable children through foster care and adoption.

COMING UP: Lifeline is teaming up with IronTribe for an event that has something for everyone. Register today for the Tribe 5K & Bacon Cook-Off, to be held in downtown Birmingham on Saturday, March 21. Run a traditional 5K, run the Tribe 5K (with an IronTribe twist!), or enter your best bacon dish into the bacon cook-off! Find out more and/or register at Tribe5K.com.

Get Involved: Aside from participating in the Tribe 5K & Bacon Cook-Off (mentioned above), you can team up with Lifeline to pray for orphans and widows, visit orphans and women in their distress, defend and advocate for orphans, invest in LifeLine’s ministry, adopt an orphan, and more! Be sure to check out their website to get a feel for all they do and to find out more ways you can get involved!

Lifeline is one of our Counter Culture ministry partners.

If you’re interested in participating in the Tribe 5K on March 21, the this video from last year’s Tribe 5K will give you an idea of what you can expect.

Radical exists to equip the church to be on mission.

Less than 1% of all money given to missions goes to unreached people and places.*

That means that the people with the most urgent spiritual and physical needs on the planet are receiving the least amount of support. Let's change that!
