Frequently Asked Questions
Are any of your resources closed captioned?
At this time, none of our resources have been closed captioned. However, a transcript is provided for most sermons on our site.
Can you recommend a church near where I live?
As a resource ministry, we do not maintain a list of recommended churches. We encourage you to prayerfully seek out biblical community in a local church near you.
Do you have a phone number or email address for David Platt where I can speak with him personally?
Due to the overwhelming volume of emails and requests that David receives and his desire to lead his family and the IMB well, David is unable to respond to every inquiry he receives. If you have a question or request that another member of our staff can help you with, please send us an email.
I have questions about how to become a Christian or how I can know for sure that I’m saved.
We have compiled some basic information about what the gospel is, how you can be saved, and other recommended resources here. Additionally, we strongly encourage you to speak with your pastor or another leader at your church if you have additional questions about the gospel or how to become a Christian.
Do you have resources in other languages?
Yes, we currently have resources in 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin, Bahasan Indonesian, Farsi, Vietnamese, Hindi, Russian, Thai, and Amharic. There are three ways to access these resources:
- While browsing the English resources. If you are looking at a resource in English and wonder if it’s available in another language, simply click the “Download” button. If it’s available in additional languages, a list of options will be displayed. You can download it in whichever language you prefer.
- Browsing by language. If you are primarily an English-speaker and want to see a complete list of all resources in another language, you can browse by language within the Resource Library. Select the “Language” option from the list of browsing preferences and choose the language you prefer. You will be able to further search or filter all resources that are available in that language.
- For speakers of another language. If you or a friend are a native speaker of another language, you can translate the resources section of the website into your language by clicking on the orange globe in the top right corner of our site.
I’m looking for a specific sermon. Where can I find it?
All of our resources can be found within our Resource Library. You can browse by topic, Scripture reference, speaker, date, and even language. If you happen to know the title of the sermon, simply type it in the search bar.
